Red Cushion
Protection & higher recovery in semen centrifugation
Red Cushion is a high-density colloidal medium used in semen centrifugation to protect sperm cells, reducing damage caused by conventional centrifugation. Red Cushion centrifugation semen produces less compacted pellets and a high sperm recovery rate. Due to its reddish color, it allows easy visualization of the pellet, as well as its removal.
This product is shipped frozen, enabled shipment methods are UPS Next Day Air and UPS Next Day Air Early only.
How to use
Dilute the semen with BotuSemen and place it in a centrifuge tube. Place 3 mL of RedCushion in the bottom of the centrifuge tube. Centrifuge at 1000g for 20 minutes. Using a pipette, remove the sperm pellet and resuspend sperm with an appropriate volume of either BotuSemen or BotuCrio.
